Privacy policy

Information I collect

• Inquiry form: your name, email, phone (if provided), property state, loan purpose, timeline and any message you send.
• Newsletter signup: your name and email.
• Technical data: my hosting provider automatically logs basic information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and reliability. This site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address.

This site does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or tracking pixels.

How I use it

• To respond to your inquiry and discuss mortgage options with you
• To send market updates, if you subscribed
• To keep the site secure and meet legal and regulatory requirements

Who I share it with

I do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. I share it only:

• With service providers that run this site for me: Vercel (hosting), Formspree (inquiry form delivery), Brevo (email newsletter and callback requests), Calendly (call scheduling) and Google Fonts. They may use it only to provide their services.
• With HP Mortgage LLC, the licensed brokerage I originate loans through, when you ask for help with a loan.
• When required by law, regulation or legal process.

If you apply for a loan

Information you provide in a loan application, such as income, assets and credit, is collected through HP Mortgage LLC and governed by its privacy notice under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the California Financial Information Privacy Act. You'll receive that notice when you apply.

Calls, texts and email

If you check the consent box on the inquiry form, I may contact you about your inquiry by email, phone or text. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of obtaining a loan. See the SMS terms for details. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link.

How long I keep it, and how I protect it

I keep inquiry and newsletter information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. I use reputable providers with encrypted connections, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your California privacy rights

California residents can ask to know what personal information I've collected about them, to correct it, or to delete it, and can opt out of its sale or sharing. I don't sell or share personal information, and I don't use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. I treat a Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out request. You won't be treated differently for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email lending@jaysoncain.com. I'll verify your identity before acting on it. Some information, such as loan application data covered by federal financial privacy law, may be exempt.

Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and I don't knowingly collect information from children.
